Sperm Donor Money

Are you a young, well educated, healthy male?

If you are, then have you considered earning money by donating your sperm to help others who want to have a baby, but may not be able to have one naturally?

Why Become A Sperm Donor?

As a sperm donor, you will:

  • help people less fortunate than yourself by providing them with a gift of life
  • help people regardless of their sexual orientation to achieve their goal of being a parent
  • get paid for your time
  • receive free physical exams, genetic screening and infectious disease testing

How Much Do Sperm Donors Get Paid?

You can earn up to $1,800 per month, donating 1 to 3 times per week.

Sperm Donor Requirements

Here are some of the requirements to become a sperm donor:

  • Typically aged 18 to 39.
  • Typically 5' 9"+ in height.
  • Currently attending or have graduated from college.
  • Proof of education.
  • Be in good health physically and emotionally.
  • Legally allowed to work in the US.
  • Physical exam.
  • Psychological exam.
  • Screened for infectious diseases.
  • Genetic testing.
  • Family history examined.
  • Photographs of yourself as a child (6 months to 12 years).
  • Live close to a sperm donor collection center.
  • Practice abstinence from any type of ejaculation 2 to 5 days prior to collection.
  • Donate sperm 1 to 3 times per week.
  • Commit to the program for 3 to 12 months.

Open Identity Or Anonymous Sperm Donor

Sperm banks are obligated by law to keep a record of your identity for 30 years from your last donation.

If you choose to be an anonymous sperm donor, your offspring will never find out you are their biological father.

If on the other hand you choose to become an "open" donor, you agree to:

  • allow your offspring to request their biological father's identity when they reach their 18th birthday
  • commit to at least one contact with your offspring

Legal/Financial Obligations To An Offspring

Sperm donors have no legal or financial obligations to an offspring, when sperm donation happens in a clinical setting and/or under medical supervision.

Less Than 1% Of Applicants Become Sperm Donors

Sperm banks are very picky with whom they allow into a sperm donation program. According to the California Cryobank, less than 1% of applicants become a donor.

You must undertake a barrage of medical tests, including genetic and health screening, infectious disease testing, and physical exams, to determine that you have what it takes to become a sperm donor.

So be warned that unless you have the qualities sperm banks are looking for in its donors, you may find it difficult to become a sperm donor.

But if you do make it into the top 1%, its a great way to make some extra money without requiring too much of your time and effort.
