15. SIU School of Medicine Standardized Patient (Visit siusomsp):
- Earn money with Standardized Patient jobs at the SIU (Southern Illinois University) School of Medicine, a medical school located in Springfield, the capital of the state of Illinois.
- Schedule:
- Usually not more than once or twice per month.
- Each case requires 1 to 3 hours of paid training time.
- Student sessions run for 2 to 8 hours.
- Break time is scheduled on the longer simulation days.
- You may see up to 12 students on a 1-to-1 basis during an evaluation session, or work with a group of 4 to 7 students in a controlled teaching session.
- Trained staff supervise encounters.
- Training:
- Training occurs on-site at both medical school campuses, Springfield and Carbondale.
- You also study case materials at home.
- Free parking permit.
- Location: Carbondale/Springfield, IL.
