38. NUNM Standardized Patient Jobs (Visit nunmsp):
- Earn $31 to $41.50 per hour, with Standardized Patient jobs at NUNM (National University of Natural Medicine).
- Established in 1956, NUNM is a private university of naturopathic medicine and Classical Chinese medicine in Portland, Oregon, and the oldest accredited naturopathic medical university in North America.
- Non-Invasive Model ($31 per hour):
- OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) Model: This is the standard non-invasive Standardized Patient.
- Eye Model: Your eyes are dilated and students perform an ophthalmoscopic exam (examine the inside of your eyes) on you.
- Cardio Model: You must have diagnosed heart murmur that can be readily heard through a stethoscope.

- Invasive Model ($41.50 per hour):
- Gyn Model:
- Gyn is short for gynecology, the branch of medicine which deals with the functions and diseases of women, especially those affecting the reproductive system.
- Students practice for pelvic exam or diaphragm/cervical cap fitting.
- Experience being a medical model before, with being a Gyn model preferred.
- Male Reproductive Model:
- Students practice a genitalia exam that includes, external inspection, palpation, and assessment. There is not a prostate or rectal exam.
- You grade the student in accordance with an exam checklist. Training provided.
- Proctology Model:
- Proctology is the branch of medicine concerned with the anus and rectum.
- Models may be male or female.
- No experience necessary.
