  • Rent your car out to ridesharing and delivery drivers (Uber, Lyft, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Grubhub, Shipt, etc.) for money on the HyreCar peer-to-peer car sharing marketplace.

    • You may leave the HyreCar platform at any time, if you are not in an active rental.
  • Renter screening:
    • Aged 21+
    • Background check.
    • Valid social security number.
    • Valid US driver's license.
    • One year driving experience.
    • Good motor vehicle record:
      • No recent accidents.
      • No major violations in the last three years.
      • Maximum two recent moving violations.
      • No history of non-payment.
    • Clean criminal record:
      • No felonies.
      • No violent crimes.
      • No major theft.
      • No major controlled substance.
  • Vehicle requirements:
    • No salvage or reconstructed titles.
    • Pass a 19-point vehicle inspection.
    • Personal auto insurance with your name.
    • You pay for general maintenance, including flat tires, oil changes, windshield wipers, steering fluid, tire pressure and rotation, brakes, and a clean car at the start of the rental.
